The Academy is a creative and supportive community where
passionate individuals can immerse themselves in the hands-on
development of their personal talent so that they can learn
the skills and gain the confidence necessary to make an immediate
and meaningful contribution to the creative workplace. The
Academy provides educational programs that are structured
to prepare students for professional opportunities and career
success in select design fields.
At the International Academy of Design and Technology, students
can earn a degree in as little as 18 months. Classes are taught
by instructors who have real-world professional experience,
and who give students the inside knowledge they need to have
a successful career in today's job market. Students use the
same techniques and tools that professionals in the industry
use, and they have access to extra assistance for all their
classes through the Academy's Learning Centers. Day, evening,
and Saturday classes allow adults the flexibility they need
to continue working full-time. Small class sizes ensure students
receive one-on-one, individual attention and guidance.
Financial Aid
Our friendly Financial Aid staff is available to assist you
throughout the financial aid application process. We are committed
to helping every student to complete his or her financial
aid plan. We've helped many students just like you. Financial
aid is available for those who qualify.
Career Services
Once you enroll as a student, you will have access to the
Career Services Center. In addition to helping students locate
full- and part-time job opportunities during their time at
the Academy, the Career Services Center also helps connect
the Academy graduates with employers in their chosen field.
Students are encouraged to work with the Career Services
Center to develop job search and budgeting strategies prior
to graduation. Additionally, the Career Services Center provides
workshops and seminars on such career development topics as
résumé writing, interviewing skills, and professional
networking techniques.
Accrediting Agencies
The International Academy of Design & Technology is accredited
by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools
to award associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees.
The Academy's Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design
is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation,
formerly known as the Foundation for Interior Design Education
and Research (FIDER).
