- Academic Advising
Champlain College places a high priority on student advising
and considers it an integral part of the college experience.
As a student of Champlain College, you will have your own
academic advisor who will help you make important decisions
about your academic schedule at Champlain and help you with
your career goals. You may meet with your advisor throughout
the semester via phone, e-mail, or fax, or in person if
you live within commuting distance.
- Bookstore
Ordering your textbooks online from the Champlain College
bookstore is easy and convenient. Complete instructions

- Career Planning
As a Champlain College student, youll benefit from
the resourceful services provided by our Career Planning
Office. Champlain was recently cited by the Kaplan/Newsweek
College Catalog 2002 as one of the top U.S. colleges offering

Library
The Champlain College library offers a wide array of research
tools for your use, including an extensive collection
of full-text electronic journals, as well as electronic
books, print books and periodicals. Access online books,
journals and other resources easily from the library Web
site. The library subscribes to several online databases
which are available only to currently enrolled students,
such as InfoTrac Searchbank, ProQuest and EBSCOhost Business
Premier periodical databases, as well as Facts on File,
CINAHL, JStor and Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe. In addition,
we offer access to several thousand full-text books through
netLibrary, Safari Books and ebrary. The Champlain College
library catalog is also available through the Web. Those
students living far from campus can borrow Champlain College
library books by requesting an interlibrary loan through
their local library.
Recognition
U.S. News America's Best Colleges 2005 ranked Champlain
College in the top tier of the Best Comprehensive Colleges
in the North.
The national publication placed Champlain at Number 16 in
this field of colleges that emphasize undergraduate education
and represent the northeastern United States. This year, the
publication ranked 324 comprehensive colleges in four regions
of the country.
U.S. News also highlighted Champlain for its strong graduation
rate, which is among the highest in its field.
Accreditation
Champlain College is accredited by the New England Association
of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Champlain College is authorized
by the Vermont State Board of Education to confer degrees
of Bachelor of Science and offer the Master of Science degree
in Managing Innovation & Information Technology in accordance
with its accreditation by NEASC.
