It is the study of the total matrix of factors influencing
the psychological and physical health of people and takes
a biopsychosocial approach in accounting for illness and behavioral
health. This specialization develops the essential knowledge
and skills for this important area.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, from an accredited
or approved institution. The equivalent to a Bachelor’s
degree is 120 semester credits of college level coursework,
including a minimum of English composition I and II and a
college-level math course.
