The Master of Education (M.Ed) program is suited to Learners
who want to combine a strong understanding of current theory
and practice in education and/or organizational leadership
with their personal needs and career focus. The program also
provides Learners with the foundational knowledge and skills
necessary for doctoral level study. Curricula reflecting the
preparation guidelines of national learned societies and groups
are designed to provide Learners with an opportunity to select
electives or a specialization and focus their studies on courses
that meet their individual needs.
The Sports Management & Leadership specialization was
created to meet the needs of a rapidly expanding and changing
multi-billion dollar sports industry, providing Learners an
opportunity to expand their knowledge. NCU's programs are
delivered completely online to meet today's hectic schedules
of educators and administrators.
Dr. Lynn Lashbrook, President and Founder of Sports Management
Worldwide (SMWW) serves as a faculty mentor. Sports leaders
are invited by Dr.Lashbrook, throughout the year to participate
in audio chats, giving the students the opportunity to learn
firsthand about the real world of sports.
Requirements
Bachelors degree, or equivalent, from an accredited
or approved institution. The equivalent to a Bachelors
degree is 120 semester credits of college level coursework,
including a minimum of English composition I and II and a
college-level math course.
