The Master of Education (M.Ed) program is suited to Learners
who want to combine a strong understanding of current theory
and practice in education and/or organizational leadership
with their personal needs and career focus. The program also
provides Learners with the foundational knowledge and skills
necessary for doctoral level study. Curricula reflecting the
preparation guidelines of national learned societies and groups
are designed to provide Learners with an opportunity to select
electives or a specialization and focus their studies on courses
that meet their individual needs.
The NCU Gifted and Talented Education (GTE) Specialization
provides present and future education professionals with the
most current research and skills necessary to foster educational
reform in this field. These questions answered for Learners
will help develop professionals who will serve as advocates
for gifted and talented populations.
Requirements
Bachelors degree, or equivalent, from an accredited
or approved institution. The equivalent to a Bachelors
degree is 120 semester credits of college level coursework,
including a minimum of English composition I and II and a
college-level math course.
