The area of concentration in Human Resource Management is
offered as part of the bachelor-level Business Administration
program at Warren National University to professionals working
in the business administration field with a focus on human
resource management. Specifically, this concentration includes
courses that review the management of multicultural environments,
training and development, and labor relations including policies,
rules, discrimination, positive discipline and grievance systems.
The Business Administration with concentration in Human Resource
Management students will also be able to learn the aspects
of human resource planning and management that deal with recruitment
and retention, as well as the importance of delivering and
measuring performance appraisals.
Program Objectives
In addition to the objectives listed for the School of Business
bachelor level degree program, Human Resource Management concentration
students will be able to:
Demonstrate knowledge of human resource management functions
Examine the impact of motivation, personality and culture
on an organizations success
Demonstrate an understanding of legal and ethical codes, statutes,
and social responsibility
Review the history of labor-management relations, and current
labor practices and issues
Utilize skills to manage a diverse workforce and develop strategies
to overcome barriers
Utilize conflict management skills for effective decision-making
strategies
Evaluate current issues in global organizations
Demonstrate proficiency in human resource management at the
bachelor degree level
Requirements
To enter a program, you must have a high school diploma or
equivalent, at least five years of full-time work experience
and be at least 23 years of age.If you are interested in learning
