The Bachelor of Science program in Business Administration
with a concentration in General Business and Management at
Warren National University offers students the basic practical
considerations and applications of the discipline in topical
areas chosen to enhance capabilities and improve career potential.
It provides an introduction to American and international
business, and addresses social responsibility, effective leadership,
and the evolution of management. Students learn the basics
of business administration, from communicating in the corporate
world to promoting products utilizing marketing principles,
economic theories and effective forecasting. It is here, within
the Business Administration program, that the foundation of
business is laid.
Program Objectives
In addition to the objectives listed for the School of Business
bachelor level degree program, General Business and Management
concentration students will be able to:
Develop writing, communication, critical-thinking, and basic
analytical problem-solving skills
Create a strategy based on historical management theory and
current best practices
Describe the role of business in a societal context from a
managerial perspective by addressing economic, social, political,
legal and technological factors
Identify the challenges, decision making and operational requirements
of a small business owner
Apply accounting theories, procedures and practical applications
using financial management tools and processes
Identify the cultural and strategic management approaches
to global marketing
Demonstrate proficiency in management at the bachelor degree
level
Requirements
To enter a program, you must have a high school diploma or
equivalent, at least five years of full-time work experience
and be at least 23 years of age.If you are interested in learning
