The undergraduate level of Warren National University's Health
Administration program is directed towards entry-level, mid-career,
and advanced-level professionals within the health administration
field. The structure of the program allows students to receive
both theoretical and practical applications needed for healthcare
management to prepare for an ever-changing healthcare environment.
It also provides current health or business administrators
with a general focus of the concepts and analytical techniques
needed to understand the administrative structure of health
organizations. This course of study introduces students to
the various health organizations, structures, planning, information
systems, economics and the legal aspects of healthcare.
Program Objectives
In addition to the objectives listed for the School of Health
Administration bachelor level degree, upon graduation, Health
Administration students will be able to:
Investigate issues pertinent to the current U.S. healthcare
system
Apply the principles of health administration, education and
promotion
Analyze delivery of healthcare services, management, and human
resources
Identify principles of economics, leadership, marketing, planning,
and legal considerations
Demonstrate content mastery in health-related areas and applied
statistics
Demonstrate proficiency in health administration at the bachelor
degree level
Requirements
To enter a program, you must have a high school diploma or
equivalent, at least five years of full-time work experience
and be at least 23 years of age.If you are interested in learning
