The Master of Science degree program Management Information
Systems at Warren National University focuses on the development,
maintenance and management of information systems. Development
and maintenance of systems in management for control of the
business enterprise are explored at all program levels. Coursework
in management of the ensuing systems is explored more fully
in the master of science degree program.
The goal of the graduate program is to ensure students are
capable of directing effective utilization and management
of information systems resources within the business enterprise.
Program Objectives
In addition to the objectives listed for the School of Technology
master level degree program, upon graduation, Management Information
Systems students will be able to:
Manage information systems components and business discipline
relationships
Develop information system strategic, tactical and operational
plans
Identify and guide selection, implementation and evaluation
of information technology
Apply project management techniques to material, personnel,
cost, and time resources
Identify appropriate legal and ethical considerations to utilize
technology effectively
Identify and align information systems to a global business
strategy
Apply fundamentals of data modeling, and database processing
and technologies
Demonstrate proficiency in management of information systems
at the master degree level
Requirements
To enter a program, you must have a high school diploma or
equivalent, at least five years of full-time work experience
and be at least 23 years of age.If you are interested in learning
