The Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program offers
a similar exposure to those mid-career professionals with
a firm grasp of business fundamentals, who wish to advance
themselves in their current work, transition to a new challenge,
or simply increase their knowledge in the area of business
administration. It assumes the fundamentals of business and
management skills are already familiar to the student, and
builds upon that knowledge to add form to the structure. For
instance, the opportunities for students to learn specialized
management techniques are evident in courses such as Technical
Managerial Accounting, Economics for Managers, Marketing Management,
and New Enterprise Management. Critical thinking, decision
making and problem solving are explored more deeply through
these additional management courses also included in the graduate
Business Administration program: Principles of Total Quality
Management, Computer Technology for Managers, Management Science
and Financial Management.
Program Objectives
In addition to the objectives listed for the School of Business
master level degree program, Business Administration concentration
students will be able to:
Conduct long- and short-term strategic planning for sales
and related cost forecasting
Demonstrate how the ethical and legal environment affects
managers at all levels, in all types of organizations
Employ financial management theories, concepts and techniques
Discuss marketing and entrepreneurial leadership disciplines
from a managerial perspective
Apply economic analysis, such as demand, production and costs
analysis and profit maximization
Utilize technology as a decision support tool in order to
make sound financial and managerial decisions
Describe various factors that affect international business
and its complexities
Demonstrate proficiency in business administration at the
master degree level
Requirements
To enter a program, you must have a high school diploma or
equivalent, at least five years of full-time work experience
and be at least 23 years of age.If you are interested in learning
