The Master of Business Administration in Engineering Management
concentration degree program at Warren National University
is designed to augment the engineering competency of the student
by providing instruction in the process of management as it
applies to technically-based enterprises. By combining qualitative
approaches and quantitative techniques in a balanced curriculum,
management credentials are strengthened and technical proficiency
is increased.
Applicants must have earned a Bachelor of Science degree
in engineering, the physical sciences, mathematics, or computer
science.
Program Objectives
In addition to the objectives listed for the School of Business
master level degree, upon graduation, Engineering Management
concentration students will be able to:
Apply managerial techniques to organize, communicate, motivate
and lead technical project teams
Integrate R&D, technological innovation, business management,
and company profitability
Utilize financial tools to evaluate performance, cash flow,
and make capital budgeting decisions
Articulate the basics of product liability and its applicability
to the engineering function
Design product, process and materials control strategies that
satisfy the customer's wants and needs
Integrate engineering and business concepts to plan, develop
and manage technological resources
Design a quality improvement process, which includes planning,
information systems, and audits
Demonstrate proficiency in engineering management at the master
degree level
Requirements
To enter a program, you must have a high school diploma or
equivalent, at least five years of full-time work experience
and be at least 23 years of age.If you are interested in learning
