The Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management
concentration program at Warren National University assumes
the fundamental management skills are already familiar to
the student. It strives to enhance the students understanding
to ensure that students have the concepts and knowledge base
necessary for applying practical solutions to human resource
challenges that arise in their workplace. Within this program,
professionals learn managerial, organizational, and business
strategies to effectively manage the elements of change within
business that have a direct impact on human resources.
Program Objectives
In addition to the objectives listed for the School of Business
master level degree program, upon graduation, Human Resource
Management concentration students will be able to:
Develop and implement plans, policies and procedures for
maximizing organizational performance
Apply strategy-supportive staffing techniques, including employee
training, and retention
Interpret employment law and mandates relating to human resource
functions
Create processes for disciplinary action, grievances, performance
appraisal and compensation
Research empowerment theories and advantages, and constraints
to employee participation
Evaluate the role of the National Labor Relations Board, collective
bargaining, contract administration and union-management
Apply total quality and continual improvement to human resource
processes, functions and programs
Demonstrate proficiency in human resource management at the
master's degree level
Requirements
To enter a program, you must have a high school diploma or
equivalent, at least five years of full-time work experience
and be at least 23 years of age.If you are interested in learning
