Be a cut above! |
| Art Institute Online AA and BA in Graphic Design |
| Let me start by saying that the Art Institute Online is not for the faint
of heart. This is for the few out there that really want a quality
education and be the best at it.
I had struggled with Community College for years, followed by private, then
state colleges. All of which I constantly found myself arguing with
teachers over the stupidest things. In truth, I was asking them what it
would do to break into the fast pace world of Advertisement and Marketing,
all of them of course knew nothing of it or failed and ended up teaching as
the end result. I also found myself bored to tears with...Read Full Review |

Art Institute-- Get in debt forever! |
| Bachelor of Science- Photography |
| I started AIOD in July 2009. I was really excited despite the HUGE price
tag that comes with it. I knew by the end I would be over $40,000 in debt,
but I felt it was worth it. Well not so much.
I started out good for the first 6 months-- although I realized already
that two of the teachers I had were arrogant, mean spirited, and just plain
not helpful. You had teachers telling you that the type of Photography you
liked to do, took absolutely no skill to do. I asked a question of my
drawing teacher, and she explained it to in a way that was incomprehensible
unless you had been working in the...Read Full Review |

thousands of others who were actually smart enough to go to college. Not
only did i go to the school, but i work for the school. No teachers nor
advisors do no hold your hand…are you in kindergarden??? do you really need
that much help?? we don’t learn for you…we provide the information and if
you can’t keep up…maybe you shouldn’t have graduated high school….
AI is NOT accredited by ACICS–we are accredited by the middle states and if
you do your research on what accredidation is…is has to do with the
location…all of o...Read Full Review |

Art Institute Online |
| Media Arts & Animation |
| I made it through 2 of the 4 years in the BS Media Arts and Animation
program at Art Institute Online. My GPA thus far is 3.82. I am a good and
dedicated student.
I am also an alumni with an Associates Degree in Visual Communications from
the Art Institute of Pittsburgh (1989-91)
I am now withdrawing from the college to seek my education elsewhere.
Art Institute of Pittsburgh back in 1989 was fantastic. Now that they are
owned by Education Management Corporation, all that they care about is the
$$$.
While some of the instructors were absolutely great, most were not... I
found myself ...Read Full Review |
