WORST EDUCATION |
| all programs |
| Folks, the following are merely my opinions. And in my opinion I would not
recommend South University nor would I recommend many online learning
environments. I worked for an online university and in my opinion,
admissions advisors are merely salespeople trying to meet quotas so they
will give you a pitch and keep you on the phone until they enroll you. That
is the reason why they are talking with you. It's not to be your friend,
it's not to help you choose your degree, It's not to help you better your
life. It's to help a profitable company be even more profitable and to meet
their sales quot...Read Full Review |

Are you kidding me? |
| Information Technology |
| South University has the worst online program I have experienced since
re-enrolling. I could only endure one term of online classes. The
instructors could have been either computer generated responses or
janitors. I did achieve a 4.0 while in attendance but that was thanks to
search engines and the public library. The course material was not related
to the material covered in the textbooks. The financial aid and registrar
officers were unable to complete the paperwork to allow my financial aid
possible leaving me with an out of pocket expense which should have been
covered by DIRECT LOAN. If a...Read Full Review |

South University |
| Network Administration |
| South University is a good program with support problems. The financial
department is confused and constantly changes personnel. This constant
change ensures confusion, and the billing is less than straightforward and
completely confusing. I am still getting bills 2 years after I graduated.
The instructors are good for the most part I did have more than one
instructor that offered absolutely no assistance throughout a challenging
programming course. I payed to move myself through their programs more
times than not. |

Strongly Recommend South University |
| Master of Science Criminal Justice |
| I just completed my Master of Science in CJ at South U in March 2010. This
school's program is in no way for the faint of heart, the disorganized, or
the marginally dedicated student. The terms are 5.5 weeks long and there is
no break between terms. But, I can honestly attest to the quality of the
faculty, as every faculty member but one had a PhD.. I agree with former
students who state that a great deal of the burden of navigating the course
material is contingent upon the research abilities of the student. But,
let's be honest; college is just that, college; a higher level of
learning!! I d...Read Full Review |

do not attend south university |
| any |
| Please everyone, DO NOT ATTEND SOUTH UNIVERSITY. It is a horrible school,
extremely expensive and certainly not worth the money. They do have "ground
schools", they are private and that is why the expense is so high, 30k plus
for an Associates, 60K plus for a bachelors. Granted there are many schools
in this country that cost that for one year alone but I would have thought
that doing a degree online would be cheaper because one is not using the
same materials. The only positive about online schools is the ability to
complete your degree that offers you flexibility in a daily schedule. You
don...Read Full Review |

Great School |
| Business Administration in Human Resources |
| I love this college. The online experience through SU is great because the
set-up they use is called eCollege, which is a top-down design and makes
knowing what is due and what to do easy. The class work is work and you
must be decipline. The instructors are very knowledgeable. Most of the
instructors are very nice and comment a lot.
I would recommend this school to anyone. The only drawback is that the
cost of tuition has grown a lot this past year. |

Good school |
| Nursing |
| My experience with this school has been nothing but positive and I've had a
great experience. I have been enrolled in at South University since April
2008, and will graduate with my BSN in less than two weeks. I'm not
employed by the school...do you honestly think a school having such success
with enrollments would bother visiting these sites and posting fake
reviews?
My enrollment process was easy. They procured my transcript for me within a
week and sent me a list of all the courses that would transfer from my
previous school. They helped me set up a complete financial aid package.

Be warned |
| MBA in Finance |
| I have been going to SU since January 2008. I will be completing my MBA in
Finance in June 2009 (eight weeks)- with High Honors.
What I like: With concerted effort, straight A's can be obtained. Degrees
can be completed in less time than at other schools. Tuition per credit
hour is slightly less than other schools I've attended and looked at.
What I don't like: Instructors do not teach - at all. Everything is up to
you to research. If you ask direct questions, your answers do not fit the
questions or you get a link to find part of the answer. Your tuition checks
come in at the beginning ...Read Full Review |
